Custom Reaction Injection Mold Tooling and Fixtures

VMW is a full service RIM Tooling and mold repair and maintenance facility staffed by RIM mold and fixture builders. We provide secondary finishing operations quoted upon request.

Custom RIM Tooling

Reaction Injection Molding (RIM) is a low cost tooling process to achieve Polyurethane and Urethane plastic parts.

RIM molds can be used to make intricate designs with Class A surfaces. RIM Tooling is lower in cost than other plastic manufacturing methods. The wide variation of applications is why manufactures cannot ignore the potential of RIM Tooling.

FIP Tooling

Foam in Place (FIP) creates soft touch products. Depending upon the material, FIP is perfect for applications from automotive headrests, consumer seating to furniture arm rests. Foam in Place also can be more of a structural element like an automotive dashboard, decorative trim or furniture components.

Foam in Place is an area of manufacturing where VMW excels. The complexity of the mold and the requirements of the finished product requires advanced knowledge of all the possible ways to use FIP.
